Step 1: To add your policy to your site's footer:

  1. Add a new page to your site for each policy.

  2. Add your policy to your new page with a text box.

  3. (Optional) Hide your page from your site menu and prevent search engines from indexing your page.

  4. Add a text box to the footer of your home page.

  5. Enter titles of each of the store policies in the text box.

  6. Link each title to the relevant page.

Step 2: Adding store policies

  1. Go to Settings in your site's dashboard.  

  2. Click eCommerce settings.

  3. Scroll down to the Checkout policies section.

  4. Select "Privacy Policy"

  5. Enter the policy text.

  6. (Optional) Add a policy checkbox:

    1. Scroll down to the Policy Agreement Checkbox section.

    2. Click the Policy checkbox toggle to enable it

    3. Select a Checked by default setting:

    4. Selected: The checkbox is already checked on the Checkout Page.  

    5. Deselected: Customers need to select the checkbox to check out.

Adding Your Privacy Policy To Your Site's Footer
