Adding Your Terms & Conditions To Your Site's Footer
In accordance with local policy and privacy regulations such as the GDPR and the CCPA, you may be required to display your terms and conditions on your site. Take a look at the steps below to learn how. In addition to updating your Terms of Service, you should also update your Privacy Policy to cover your SMS marketing program.
Step 1: To add your Terms & Conditions to your site's footer:

Add a new page to your site for your Terms & Conditions.

Add your T&C to your new page with a text box.

(Optional) Hide your page from your site menu and prevent search engines from indexing your page.

Add a text box to the footer of your home page.

Enter titles of each of the store policies in the text box.

Link each title to the relevant page.

Step 2: Adding T&C to checkout

Go to Settings in your site's dashboard.

Click eCommerce settings.

Scroll down to the Checkout policies section.

Select "Terms & Conditions"

Enter the Terms & Conditions text.

(Optional) Add a Policy checkbox:

Scroll down to the Policy Agreement Checkbox section.

Click the Policy checkbox toggle to enable it

Select a Checked by default setting:

Selected: The checkbox is already checked on the Checkout Page.

Deselected: Customers need to select the checkbox to check out.
